TEMPORARY CLOSING

CLOSING DOORS DOESN'T MEAN CLOSING DOWN.

Dear Friends,

Following the directive of the French government on Saturday 14 March to close all non-essential businesses and public places, the exhibition space of Mémoire de l'Avenir will be temporarily closed.

While we are closed, our windows remain open, using all our other means of communication to share the artistic work and engagements that we support through the different projects of Mémoire de l'Avenir.

It is important to preserve the links between us - public, colleagues, partners, friends, families, neighbours - in order to live as well as possible the imposed isolation and the anxiety that the situation generates.

This global stop invites us to redefine our relationship with others, our social relationships, and to reinvent our way of living together. Arts and culture will be our tools, as powerful and essential mediators to imagine, propose, act and open horizons.

Let us keep this link and this time to reflect together on the many subjects that will emerge, on the changes that will take place: economic, political, social, personal.
