False friends, or Faux-amis, is an expression describing two words in two different languages that look or sound similar, but differ significantly in meaning.

When two stories meet,  a new story is created. Told in different languages and played around with pink sweets, a fairy tale is created where borders are made of sweets and political realities become candy flossed fantasies.

Rony Efrat lives in Paris for the last three years. She is an artist and a translator, working between France, Italy and Croatia. She is the artistic director of the artistic platform IGLOÙ and works for Larousse Editions.
Lilac Yosiphon has lived in London for three years. Now she lives somewhere between London, Paris and Israel. She is the artistic director of Althea Theatre company and has recently wrote and performed in There's No Place Like in London and in Paris.
