ADDICTIVE TV performs ‘Orchestra of Samples’
Creating musical dialogues from different cultures by sampling hundreds of musicians recorded around the world in the last 10 years, artist collective Addictive TV present their global music project Orchestra of Samples. Creating new music by splicing together all manner of instruments, from traditional to newly-invented and from Senegal to Kazakhstan, the project is a musical journey without borders, a digital supergroup described by The Times as “ingenious and compelling’ and by Cultured Vultures as “a glimpse into the very essence of music”.

ADDICTIVE TV - SHORT BIOG:
Digital artists Addictive TV are known for their innovative performances and use of audio-video sampling. They were described by American magazine Live Design as “inspiring an entire generation of artists exploring the crossover between audio and visual mediums” and Huff Post said of them “Addictive TV create the perfect integration of audio and visual technologies in their thrilling live shows”. They’ve performed in over 50 countries now, including at Russia’s Erarta Museum in St Petersburg, Mexico City’s Centro Nacional de las Artes and the Pompidou Centre in Paris. They’ve had their work exhibited at New York’s Museum of Moving Image and Shanghai’s Museum of Contemporary Art and have created work for the likes of Greenpeace, Arte, EA Games, and Hollywood studios Paramount Pictures, Universal and 20th Century Fox. Most recently they were commissioned to create work for London’s Royal Docks and both the London Borough of Culture 2019 and 2020.
