Mémoire de l'Avenir envisions its space as a venue for interactions among artists, researchers, and the public, serving as a focal point for contemplation, dedicated to art and its impact on society.

The organization offers the public contemporary art events, including visual arts, video, photography, and installations, complemented by satellite events such as performances, concerts, screenings, theater, and conferences.

The artists, through their sensitive exploration of the world, articulate ideas, give form to emotions and concepts, and propose avenues for reflection.

Each exhibition provides a platform for contemplating pressing issues, striving for positive change, fostering intercultural dialogue, peace education, and ecological awareness.

The works do not offer solutions but rather prompt examination of societal issues, be they personal, collective, memorial, political, philosophical, ethical, or aesthetic.

Each exhibition serves as a reflective instrument on the arts and the artists' endeavors.

Mémoire de l'Avenir has been based in Belleville since April 2009.
