The exhibition Paysages Tactiles (Tactile landscapes) is presented from May 19th to June 26th 2021, at Mémoire de l'avenir, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
It proposes a sensorial approach to the notion of landscapes, in their physical and mental dimensions, by creating common spaces of visuals and sounds expressions, creating spaces of experiences, beyond visual restrictions.
This exhibition, entirely tactile, brings five artists together, who invite us to touch, to listen, and to see different works that all are distinctive proposals of landscapes to experiment.
Through printmaking, ceramics, textiles, interactive installations and various objects, the artists seek to summon our senses, imagination and emotions, in order to question what a landscape is, beyond traditional limits of its apprehension.
The exhibition invites us to take the visual landscape out of its visible dimension, to consider it through the richness of its material and immaterial aspects, and thus proposes to reconsider our usual ways of perceiving the world in order to experiment with new ones.
