A chance to play! Better yet, an invitation! Memory of the Future, Riccarda Montenero, Dark stories – Dance with the sacral body... Play with whom? This time? Christine Chardonnier, this flautist captured by liberty, with her smashing tonguing and a desire to move which she does not repress... It’ll work, everything fits – the images, the space, the conditions... And so we’ll discover in real time what we see and hear and what we want to hear.

A glance
Reactions, shapes, positions…a sonorous animation of photos, echoes…
To feel, to let it happen and then sculpt the space depending on location, acoustics, other musical proposals, on sensations and internal music.
Let the sounds ring, resonate, intertwine…
Make emotions and reminiscences vibrate through the breath.
Shape the ineffable, the poetry of the moment

Christine Chardonnier
A classical formation in different Conservatories - flute, theory, harmony, analysis and a musicology cursus at Sorbonne University. And then, depending on encounters, a musical journey going from the classical orchestra (Alfred Loewenguth, Ernst Schelle, Sergui Celibidache), to jazz (The Edim School with Bruno Whillhem, Daniel Beaussier, Bob Revel…) to salsa, to contempory music (Philippe Drogoz, « l’Armucom », « l’instant donné »).
And to broaden her horizons – dance and sensorial movement (Martha Rodezno), accordion, piano, clown (Vincent Rouche, Françoise Simon…); collaborations with dancers (Compagnie Cécile Berrebi), poets (accompanying readings at l’Harmattan), comedians (le kaléidoscope bleu).
She teaches and performs regularly.
Improvisation encompasses these varied interests - the love of sound, of instantaneous expression, of unexpected encounters, of shared and renewed exploration at every moment.

Lives and works between Paris and Turin
From November 3rd to the 30th, Mémoire de l'Avenir will host Riccarda Montenero's exhibition titled "(HI)STORY(S)".
Through her camera's lens, Riccarda Montenero portrays the "DANCE OF THE SACRAL BODY IN SHADOW AND LIGHT."
The central theme of this project is longing, and the creative force of desiring a body that, within a dance movement, is generating unusual forms and lays itself bare, powerful and vulnerable.
Riccarda refers to a fundamental energy, to a dimension of the body's animality, an archaic dimension that she considers sacred.
The staging encompasses the excessive, wild, obscene body, exposed and consumed by a desiring gaze; the obscure, ancestral, light-bearing energy that illuminates the body in its ambiguity; the intimate desire of the flesh to abandon itself to the unconsciousness, to the intimate motion, dancing beyond the restrained body...
These aspects are what Riccarda Montenero aimed to portray in "Dance of the Sacral Body in Shadow and Light."
In this new body of work (2023), she explores five themes, such as HISTOIRES SOMBRES, LA CIBLE DU DÉSIR, LA CHAIR DE L'AUTRE, VERTIGE, et DANS LA LUMIÈRE.
