Bicycle delivery drivers and migration:
what stories and what impact?
Photography, comics and journalism each use their own means to portray the situation of migrants and bicycle delivery drivers. What are the constraints, specificities and objectives of their approaches? How can these approaches be compared? What do they give us to see, understand or feel? And to what effect?

How is the work of bicycle delivery drivers evolving?
What measures can be taken to protect them?
The rapid deployment of delivery platforms such as Uber Eats or Deliveroo has given rise to new workers with an ambiguous status. Working conditions and pay for bike delivery drivers have become progressively tougher, and it is very often undocumented workers who hold these jobs. As public opinion and public authorities become increasingly aware of this situation, how does their exploitation continue, and what measures are being taken in Europe and France to deal with it?

What future for migration
in an era of climate change?
With the effects of climate change, to which Europe has largely contributed, the question of future migration is being raised more than ever. What is the reality of migration-related mobility in the world today, and what will it look like in 2050? What alternative policies should be developed as a result? Catherine Wihtol de Wenden, specialist in international migration and Director of Research Emeritus at the CNRS, will take us back over the history of migration and our perceptions of it. It's also an opportunity to discover the avenues she has mapped out for the future with her latest book, Figures de l'Autre - Perceptions du migrant en France 1870-2022.
